– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 3/4 cup granulated sugar
– 1 egg
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup diced fresh strawberries
– 24 milk chocolate kisses
Instructions

3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the diced strawberries.
6. Scoop the dough by the tablespoonful and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
7. Gently press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie dough ball.
8. Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the cookies are lightly golden around the edges.
9. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For best results, use fresh, juicy strawberries. You can also try different types of chocolate kisses, such as dark chocolate or peanut butter, for a twist on the classic flavor.
