Description

Indulge in the perfect balance of sweet strawberries and bubbly champagne with these easy-to-make Strawberry Champagne Floats – a refreshing dessert or cocktail that’s ready in just 6 minutes!

Ingredients

– 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered

– 1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1 bottle (750ml) chilled champagne or sparkling wine

– Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, gently muddle the quartered strawberries with the granulated sugar until the strawberries release their juices.

2. Divide the strawberry mixture evenly among 6 champagne flutes or glasses.

3. Carefully pour the chilled champagne over the strawberry mixture, filling the glasses nearly to the top.

4. Garnish each float with a fresh mint leaf.

5. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a sweeter float, you can add an extra drizzle of simple syrup to the strawberry mixture. This recipe can also be made with other types of berries, such as raspberries or blackberries.
