Description

Elevate your pizza game with these easy-to-make, visually stunning Pizza Roses crafted from flaky puff pastry. Filled with savory pizza sauce and melted cheese, these homemade treats are perfect for parties, snacks, or a special indulgence.

Ingredients

– 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed

– 1/2 cup pizza sauce

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

– 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet and roll it out slightly to create a rectangular shape.

3. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a 1/2-inch border.

4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over the pizza sauce.

5. Starting from the long side, tightly roll up the puff pastry into a log.

6. Slice the log into 1-inch thick pieces, creating the pizza rose shapes.

7. Arrange the pizza roses, cut-side up, on the prepared baking sheet.

8. Sprinkle the tops with the dried oregano.

9. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

10. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For best results, use high-quality puff pastry and pizza sauce. Experiment with different cheese blends or add toppings like pepperoni or mushrooms for personalized flavors.
