Description

Indulge in the ultimate comfort food with this rich and creamy Lobster Mac & Cheese Melt. Tender chunks of succulent lobster are baked to perfection in a decadent cheese sauce, creating a luxurious twist on a classic favorite.

Ingredients

– 1 pound elbow macaroni

– 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

– 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

– 3 cups whole milk

– 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

– 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese

– 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped into bite-sized pieces

– 1 teaspoon salt

– 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

– 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly.

4. Gradually whisk in the milk and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cook, stirring frequently, until the sauce has thickened, about 5-7 minutes.

5. Remove the sauce from the heat and stir in the cheddar and Gruyère cheeses until melted and smooth.

6. Add the cooked macaroni, lobster meat, salt, pepper, and paprika to the cheese sauce and stir to combine.

7. Transfer the mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

8. Let the dish cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra indulgent twist, top the Lobster Mac & Cheese Melt with crispy breadcrumbs or crushed Ritz crackers before baking.
