Description

This Dill Pickle Chicken Salad is a delicious and tangy twist on a classic summer staple. Tender shredded chicken is combined with crunchy dill pickles and a creamy, flavorful dressing for a refreshing and satisfying meal or side dish.

Ingredients

– 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts

– 1 cup diced dill pickles

– 1 cup mayonnaise

– 1/2 cup sour cream

– 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

– 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a large pot, cover the chicken breasts with water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until chicken is cooked through.

2. Remove chicken from the pot and shred or chop into bite-sized pieces.

3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced dill pickles, mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, fresh dill, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

5. Serve chilled or at room temperature. Enjoy!

Notes

For best flavor, make the Dill Pickle Chicken Salad a few hours in advance to allow the flavors to meld. You can also add diced celery or red onion for extra crunch and flavor.
