This visually stunning pizza features a creamy rosa sauce and is topped with fragrant prosciutto roses, creating a showstopping appetizer or light meal that’s sure to impress your guests.

Ingredients

– 1 pound pizza dough, store-bought or homemade

– 1 cup rosa sauce

– 8 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced

– 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

– 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

– 1 tablespoon dried oregano

– 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

– Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired size and thickness, then transfer it to the prepared baking sheet.

3. Spread the rosa sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.

4. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.

5. Arrange the prosciutto slices in a spiral pattern, starting from the outside and working your way in, creating a beautiful rose-like design.

6. Drizzle the olive oil over the prosciutto and sprinkle the oregano and garlic powder on top.

7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.

9. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a variation, try using different types of cured meats, such as salami or pancetta, in place of the prosciutto. You can also experiment with different types of cheese or add fresh herbs as a garnish.
