Description

Indulge in the classic, creamy goodness of this easy Cheese Fondue Recipe. Perfect for cozy gatherings, parties, or a decadent date night, this fondue comes together in just 5 minutes for a melty, cheesy treat.

Ingredients

– 1 pound Swiss cheese, grated

– 1 pound Gruyère cheese, grated

– 1 cup dry white wine

– 2 tablespoons cornstarch

– 1 clove garlic, minced

– 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan, toss the grated Swiss and Gruyère cheeses with the cornstarch until well coated.

2. Add the white wine, garlic, lemon juice, nutmeg, and black pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth, about 5 minutes.

3. Transfer the fondue to a fondue pot or slow cooker set to the warm setting. Serve immediately with crusty bread, fresh fruit, and steamed vegetables for dipping.

Notes

– For a thicker fondue, add an extra tablespoon of cornstarch.

– Try experimenting with different cheese blends, such as cheddar and Parmesan.

– Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated gently before serving.
