Description

Enjoy these crispy, flavorful Buffalo Cauliflower Bites – a quick and easy appetizer that’s perfect for game day, parties, or a tasty snack.

Ingredients

– 1 head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 2 eggs, beaten

– 1 cup panko breadcrumbs

– 1 cup buffalo sauce

– 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

– 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

– Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).

2. In one bowl, mix together the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.

3. In a second bowl, beat the eggs.

4. In a third bowl, add the panko breadcrumbs.

5. Dip the cauliflower florets into the flour mixture, then the beaten eggs, and finally the panko breadcrumbs, coating them evenly.

6. Arrange the breaded cauliflower on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or fry in batches in the hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

7. In a large bowl, toss the fried or baked cauliflower bites with the buffalo sauce and melted butter until well coated.

8. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions or celery sticks, and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispy bites, you can double-dip the cauliflower in the egg and breadcrumbs. You can also bake the cauliflower instead of frying for a healthier option.
